Description
Responsibilities / Deliverables
Perform CT and MRI scans including abdominal, thoracic, neurological, extremity, and biopsy studies. Prepare patients by explaining procedures, verifying consent, positioning correctly, and calculating contrast dose based on weight. Perform venipuncture, administer IV/oral contrast via power injector, monitor for reactions, and manage extravasations. Enter patient history, slice parameters, and transmit images via PACS/Tele-Radiology. Ensure equipment calibration, image transfer to film/optical disk, and maintain workflow efficiency. Collaborate with radiologists to determine additional imaging needs and uphold safety protocols. Document all procedures and maintain compliance with NY State and ARRT standards.
